Can Virtual LeaderCon help me be a better leader?

By Kevin Eikenberry

Virtual LeaderCon will be held September 12-15, 2022. Over four days I will be joined by hundreds of learning leaders from around the world and 30 expert thought leaders to explore what it takes to be a more effective and confident leader. With that statement alone, it would seem obvious that attending this virtual conference from the comfort of your own environment on whatever device you choose would be useful to you.

After all, you wouldn’t be reading this if you didn’t care about solving some of the challenges you face, answering the questions you have, and generally wanting to be a better leader.  But let’s unpack what Virtual LeaderCon really is, how you can benefit and how can you get involved. Let me answer that by answering a few questions I bet you might have.

What makes it so special or different?

Some had said these sessions are like a podcast on steroids. Podcast conversations are great – but they are one-way and not interactive at all. Virtual LeaderCon takes place in a platform that promotes interaction – and the sessions aren’t keynotes or canned presentations. Each session is a conversation between me (and I’ve facilitated hundreds of them), the expert, and you. I will ask them questions they might not have been asked before, I will ask them to share their latest thinking and freshest approaches, and I will ask them your questions, too. You can’t get all of that even at the highest profile conference in your industry. Top experts – answering your questions (and the questions of people like you).

It’s also different because of the culture we create in the Conference. Participants are learning from and interacting with each other, as well as with me and the guests. It might be the most fun you’ve ever had at a learning event – and I’ll guarantee it will be the most fun you’ve had at a virtual event. Oh, and you might win prizes, like books from us or our expert guests, too.

You can look through the daily agenda to find exactly the sessions that speak to you. Here are just a few examples.

Do you want to..

  • Leverage uncertainty? Monday at 2:15 pm ET
  • Be a more emotionally strong leader?  Monday at 4 pm ET or Thursday at 3:15 pm ET (two different experts)
  • Build your personal brand? Thursday at 10:45 am ET
  • Be a stronger thinker? Thursday at 11:30 am ET

We asked our past participants, readers, and colleagues what topics were most important to them, and  we created two days all about those more important topics.

Tuesday September 13 is all about being a more effective communicator – one of the most important skills for any leader. And Wednesday September 14 is all about building the culture of your team – perhaps the most important skill we overlook or discount.

And each day I open the conference day with a mini-keynote session on important topics facing all of us as leaders.

What is it going to cost?

Chances are you are all in, except… You are wondering what this will cost.

You can attend as much of this live as you wish – at no cost at all. Registration for live attendance is completely free.

If you look at your calendar and know you will miss sessions you want (or are in an all day meeting Tuesday and really want to work on your communication skills), you can invest in lifetime access to the archives of the sessions (either the whole conference or the Communication or Culture Days separately), at a very minimal investment – and if you do so before it starts, it is discounted. All the registration options can be found here.

Think of any decision where the upside is sky high and the risk and costs are low. Will you make that call?  That is Virtual LeaderCon.  Join us for as much as you can.  Learn from experts, learn from like minded leaders from around the world, and get your questions answered.

Block as much of your calendar as you can for September 12-15 – or pick a couple sessions that you know will make a difference for you.  Either way, the choice is an easy one – Virtual LeaderCon will help you grow as a leader.
