In my podcast, I play a game with my guests. While I will prepare them in advance for the conversation, giving them typical questions or topics that we’ll discuss, I also play on their spontaneity, giving them one word and asking them to tell me what comes to mind immediately.

I believe there is a lot of value in spontaneity and we’ve certainly heard it on the podcast from experts and best-selling authors across the globe. So today, I’m playing my own game and randomly picking a page in my book, From Bud to Boss, which I will then riff on, discussing a key topic from that page.

. . . .

The page is 94 and the topic is change, more specifically, “When the change is unexpected, what do we do as a leader when the change is unexpected?”
